Definīcija:Also called teleworking and flexible working, remote working is the use of computer and telephony equipment to enable workers to work from home. It is generally held as being distinct from mobile or peripatetic working, where the individual moves around the country, or the more traditional home-working, where organisations pay those at home to undertake what is generally low skill, manual 'piece work' for relatively low rates of pay. Remote workers, by contrast, are simply office workers - in sales or journalism, for example - who work from home or from some local office base facility known as a 'telecottage'. Work may be full or part time, with the definition of someone who works one or more days a week from home being a remote worker fast becoming standard.
