Definīcija:Right by which someone is the sole exploiter of products and goods. Subject to the prohibition of measures having equivalent effect (Art.30-34 of the EEC Treaty) in so far as it makes imports or exports more difficult or more costly in relation to sales of national products or to other imports or exports (1). In the telecommunications field: according to Commission Directive 90/338/EEC as amended by Commission Directive 94/46/EC, an exclusive right exists where the service is reserved by the Member State for a single public or private undertaking within a given area (2).
