No Δ 1. līdz 6. koda zīmei apzīmē preču aprakstīšanas un kodēšanas harmonizētās sistēmas kodu, Δ 7. un 8. koda zīme apzīmē Eiropas Ekonomikas asociācijas kodu, bet 9. koda zīme ir rezervēta Latvijas specifisko preču apzīmēšanai.
