Definīcija:Established 7 May 1990, under Council Regulation (EEC) No 1360/90. Aims: to contribute to the development of vocational training schemes in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe designated as eligible for economic aid by the Council; to promote effective cooperation between the European Community and these countries in the field of vocational training; to contribute to the coordination of assistance provided by the Community, its Member States and third countries as agreed by the Council; to assist in identifying and assessing training and retraining needs in the light of new market conditions, and to develop strategies to meet them; to act as a clearing house for information on demands and offers of assistance; to encourage multilateral programmes and joint ventures, including pilot projects for setting up specialized multinational teams for identifying operations for possible cofinancing.
